I could not resist purchasing this 1949 McCall's pattern from etsy store patternmania
The colours, fabrics & embroidered faces are just what I love.
I have given the bunny a go & not very fond of it all...just doesn't have that vintagey, 1949 authentic look to it.
The next thing i do it with it will be enlarge the packet on the photocopier ala officeworks & make a rather cute poster, I think.
Bunny has been claimed so all is not lost.

I think it looks great! It's just really clean and new :). Once it's roughed-up a bit, it may appeal to you more.
I hoard/covet those old patterns. And so often, I know I can make the pattern from scratch much easier Oftentimes, particularly the mail-order vintage patterns, are a bit off, too. Still, I buy them often :)
